Here's a new one for you. The Man of the Sea (Resolve) The Sea has many Legends surrounding it. This particular legend revolves around man's connection to the sea and how they work together. These powers may only be used when the user is at sea or the sea is somehow involved. apprentice-When the sorceror uses a glamour die (specifically) as a drama die for any sailor or captain skill (or other sea based skill per the GM) in addition to the bonus received from the drama die, the sorceror gets his rank in this knack added to the final total to the skill roll adept-the sorceror at this level has the sea on his side when the weather is concerned. Once per day the sorceror may attempt to change the direction of the wind. The sorceror spends a drama die and makes a resolve+knack roll. The TN is 15 for a 45 degree wind direction shift, with one raise required for each additional 45 degrees. So to change the wind 180 degrees would require a TN of 30. Additionally once per day, the sorceror can attempt to control the temperature. The sorceror spends a drama die and makes a resolve+knack roll. The TN is 10+(5 times the number of dice rolled for wound damge). If the roll is successful the sorceror can shift the direction of weather table left/right or up/down by one. e.g The sorceror is in middle of cold, rough weather, taking 4k2 damage per hour. She spends a drama die and has to make a roll versus a TN 10+(4*5)=30. She succeeds and drops the box down one to 2k2 damage. master-The sorceror can extend his favor with the sea to the ship he is on. By spending a drama die he can add 1/2 his trait to the same trait of the ship(round up). If his resolve is 4, he adds 2 to the resolve (hull) of the ship. This bonus lasts for a scene, and the sorceror can only be adding to one trait at a time. i.e if the caster is currently adding to hull ( as above), and decides she needs to switch to panache, she will spend another drama die and the bonus to panache is gained and the resolve bonus is lost.
