Maybe a Wits + Cooking (?) roll vs 20 or higher. I'd probably say that it would be pretty much indetectable unless one was alreay checking for poisons and such. Takes the fun out of using one on a PC if they get to roll to check for it. : } >And, of course, there's the question of abuse: >what's to stop one PC from learning the skill and >cranking out three or four of the things for all >his friends? Yeah, it costs a >drama die, but over time that won't be that big a >deal, especially considering the power it adds to >the party. I'm more or less hoping the time cost will help (at least for the bigger things). If a PC started to abuse thier knowledge, I'd have the Sidhe (for a Glasmour mage) pay them a visit to teach them a lesson about wasting glamour in that fashion, making it mundane. Matushka, the Sidhe, and Fate could also take away the power to do that if it was abused. Fooling around with such power has its consequences. : } Maybe have the knack completely taken away if they ignore the warnings of their betters (teacher, spirits, et cetera). They are cursed to never again be able to use that which they squandered (also, coincidentally, nulling all items they had previously made).
