Their spanish guitar CD had one of the best sets of spanish guitar music on it I've seen. If you can find it, it's a good one (and probably cheaper than any of the real spanish guitar CD's ). On a less esoteric level , Andres Segovia is THE name to look for. He was quite simply the undisputed master of classical guitar. He recorded at least two albums which are prabably worth getting, even 'for the layman'; one entitled something about the Spanish Guitar and one something like 'My favorite pieces,' which is also predominantly spanish. Another performer/composer I would look into is Villa-Lobos (can't remember his first name at the moment). He tries to get a more south american flavor into his music, but it is still pretty spanish sounding. And who is to say that Castellian music doesn't sound a little like our south american music?
