Ok got off the phone with Masero and got this cleared up.

The Villain's Kit is a $25 book.  As a "benny" (don't ask...its a word
Masero used) they are including a certificate good for a years membership to
NOM.  For existing members of NOM, they can turn in the certificate for a
years extension to the membership.

Speaking of which...the first issue of The Crow's Nest has gone out and
members can expect it in their mailboxes shortly.
