Hello,

it seems such a shame to begin a post to a new list in such an air of
unfriendliness, frankly, it sucks and to the idividual who was so rude to
the person introducing himself, I have one word for you.."Karma".

It is considered polite to introduce yourself to a new list when someone
joins, this is called "etiquette" and "good manners" and some lists, is an
expected rule of thumb.

It's cool to see where other folks are coming from, why the game what they
like etc, it's all part of being a community, and especially as this list
is relatively new, there are gonna be folks who are joining and want to
part of things.

So..I am going to introduce myself to you guys, the majority of whom, I
might add...seem really nice folks!

HI,

my name is Jo, and I live in Sydney.  I have been roleplaying for 20 years,
designing and running at conventions for 12 years and campaing gaming for
well over 12 years.

I am one of the few lady designers and gms in this country.

I am very excited about 7th Seas, it has sparked my somewhat jaded palette,
and I am in the midst of preparing a mammoth campaign...I am putting a page
up on the web, not only will it talk about Theah, for those of you who are
interested, there is a page that tells my players the kind of game that I
will be running and how.
