With that in mind, book titles could range from "An Accounting of , which would include all the same kind of information as your original book to something more specific, like "An accounting of Syrenth Traps" (which I wouldn't recommend unless you want to make your pc's both paranoind and knowledgable..) But that aside, here are two suggestions: "The Widow" - by Alana Riguere - an account of various ways to sneak poison into a victim, as well as a description of various types of poisons, what they are made of and how to distill them. (The title comes from a song by Mercedes Lackey called "Black Widows in the Privy.") "The definitive Gargoyle" - by Hildeguard Aucher - a detailed study of the habits of gargoyles.. including a way to discourage them from attacking, or settling in your area (which no is a common practice in many places - setting up a stone gargoyle of your own..). Should also include commercial value of dead gargoyles, a disection of one's anantomy, mating habits, life span.. etc. Should your players memorize the book, they should likely gain some Lore Skill in 'Gargoyles'. Not quite sure where they would put that on their sheet though.. -- Contents Copyright (C) 1997,98,99 by ALDERAC ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC.
