There is one "strange effect" of this rule, which may not come up often enough to worry about, but I notice these things. Say I take 15 points of damage wearing the armor, because of the soak assistance I pass the test, don't take a wound but record 15 hits. Now I take the armor off, and take another 5 hits. I'd roll my normal soak against the full 20. The strange effect being that if I was able to avoid the damage because the armor absorbed it for me, than the hits associated with that damage should probably come off along with the armor. -- Contents Copyright (C) 1997,98,99 by ALDERAC ENTERTAINMENT GROUP, INC.
